6pm Tuesday 6/18/24 Tuesday TrackWorkout 20 minute tempo run at 5 k pace plus 3-5 seconds per lap. Follow with 6-8 x 100 meter strides
We meet at the Sparky Adams Parker Field at 1299 Parker Ave.
Our workout promptly starts at 6 pm. It is strongly advised to warmup beforehand.
 
Group Runs:
 
  • Wednesday 6/19/24 @ 6:30pm Goodbar Sessioneers Run Join runners for either 3- or 6-mile routes beginning and ending at MrGoodbar at 1110 Elmwood Ave
  • 8am Sunday  6/23/24 Sunday Runday Come join runners for a group run from Delaware Park. Runners meet at the Indian Hunter Statue on ring Rd adjacent to the Parkside/198 entrance to Delaware Park.
    5 and 10 mile routes will be provided.


     
 
Events:
  • ​​6pm Tuesday July 2nd  Battle of Buffalo Relay Open, Master, coed, women and men's relays against other Buffalo running clubs including GBTC, Electric City Running Club, Urban Runners Club, and RWB
  • July 11th 6:30pm Book Club Readers and runners rejoice! Book Club is back. Club members picked Fast Girls by Elise Hooper. Acclaimed novelist Elise Hooper explores the gripping, real-life history of female athletes, members of the first integrated women’s Olympic team, and their journeys to the 1936 summer games in Berlin, Nazi Germany.
  • 7pm Friday July 19th Subaru 4mile Chase  We are proud to sponsor and have selected this year's Subaru 4mile Chase as our next Target Race. We will have a our tent set up at the race for pre and post race for our runners. GBTC members also receive $5 of their registration with the coupon code GBTC24
  • 6pm July 25th Volunteer Appreciation Party/Christmas in July     Please Rsvp to this year's volunteer appreciation party/Christmas in July. We are still in the planning stages and members, volunteers and their friends and family can expect an invite soon. Rsvp at hm.lyle@gmail.com
